Now I have wildlife! (Postscript) |

During the year 2000 the garden survived, but didn't fluorish. I added two fishes and they survived over the next winter. The lilies never bloomed - I don't know why. Still, it looked nice with the variety of flowers around it. |

After surviving the terribly dry and hot summer of
2000, two lilies bloomed at once in May of 2001. It was their swan song.
Two nights later, the raccoons attacked. They killed my four goldfish,
and shredded all of the vegitation while trying to find them. The lily's
pots were knocked over the the lilies pulled out. It was a muddy mess!
I repotted them, but am waiting to thoroughly clean out the pond and start
over.
