An A6 attack plane, used mostly for bombing,
is ready for launch.
An A7 attack plane, also used for bombing,
returns after its mission.
The E2, with radar disk, was used for air
traffic control. They usually cruised a hundred
miles or so from the carrier.
The radome is open for work on the AWG-10
missile control and radar system on the F4J.

An F4J Phantom sits during non-flight op
periods, flight crew inside and flightdeck
crew ready to launch within five minutes to
intercept any approaching bogies.
Corrosion is always a problem at sea. You
may need to enlarge this to see all the primer

An RF5C, with its wings up and tail over.
Reminds me of the whale in "Free Willy".
