HOW TO DO JUST ABOUT ANYTHING

. . . .HowTo

How to do this,
How to do that,
How to play chess
With a Cheshire Cat,

How to win big,
How to lose small,
An Internet dig
Can reveal it ALL.

This is the place to come to find out how to do something. If what you want to know how to do ain't here, then it's probably not worth doing (just kidding). My email eddress is at the bottom of this page in case you have questions.

Before we start with Web and Internet HowTo stuff, you may have heard about a program to help stutterers that costs $3,000. Dr. J. B. Frymire started a very simple method in 1893 to help stutterers, and it doesn't cost anything. According to his medical journals, it was a great success. Here's his method --

Open a book, and start reading aloud, but leave your teeth clenched. Do this for five minutes the first day. Each day thereafter, add five more minutes. Do this until you reach 60 minutes. Then, read aloud for 60 minutes each day for the next two months. You must read loud enough to be heard.

During the last ten years, Dr. Frymire's family have received in excess of 500 letters saying that Dr. Frymire's stuttering remedy worked for them. If you stutter and you want help, it may work for you too! The doc's family live in Irvington, Texas, USA.

Let's begin with some easy stuff. Many web pages contain images and sound files. There are two basic types of image, in-line and background. To find out how to save an in-line image or a background image to your 'puter's hard-drive, squick on --

How To Save Images and Midis

Please remember to give copyright credit where credit is due! Giving copyright credit is not always possible on the internet. If you know who made the image or sound file that you use, be sure to let people know who they are.

If you would like to know how to set your browser background color to an easy to read, reduced eyestrain, soft, pastel green, try this --

How To Set Your Browser Background Color

These steps are designed with NetScape in mind, so if you use a different browser, you might need to check out your handbook to find out how to set your browser background.

WHY would you want to do this??? To save your beautiful eyes, gentle reader, to make sure that your gorgeous, sexy and desirably luscious eyes will be forever able to read my works. <oops>

Next, I have learned a couple of tricks by experimenting with HTML tags. To learn more about HTML, the following tips are provided --

I have been playing with the <BODY> and <EMBED> HTML tags. You can check out what I've learned so far by squicking on --
