But soon other countries issued stamps. And states, provinces, and colonies. Foreign post offices. Railroads, steamships, and airlines. Cities, towns, islands, and uninhabited islands. Rebels. Businessmen. And figments of the imagination.

I have been trying to collect A Stamp From Everywhere for twenty years. It has been educational, confusing, frustrating, fascinating, and tiring. Did I mention fun? It is a very odd, odd world out there! My list of places exceeds 13,500; the stamps I've found (and been able to afford) number far fewer.

While I'm reviewing and reorganizing each grouping on my list and in my collection, I 'd like to post random items, both familiar and unfamiliar, in a growing exhibit of "A Stamp from Everywhere". Enjoy!
