Tsu Ba Sa [W i n g s]
This is the opening theme of the Sega Saturn version of Lunar I, played 
many times over through the commercial for the game.  It gives the sense 
of oneself gazing towards a far-off place, having experienced both 
suffering and sorrow, but bound for a bright tomorrow  -  of "Come, let's
be off!"  The singer's own folk guitar accompaniment was a good choice, I
guess  -  wasn't it!?

Hikari to Kage no Rondo [Rondo of Light and Shadow]
This can also be said to be Lunar II's theme; it was also included in the 
"SegaKara" karaoke album.  I thought up the melody's basic structure 
while looking at the moon looming in the sky above!  It sounds like 
something out of a manga, but it's a true story...even now, I think
the gods of Lunar (the moon) must have lent me inspiration.

Killy Is No. 1
When I create the music for Lunar, I sort through my ideas with reams of
of scenario and continuity sheets in one hand, and this song comes from 
the scene of Killy, dressed in women's clothing  -  bam!  -  suddenly 
whipping off his mantle and flipping up in the air like an acrobat.  The
banter with the backup girls came off well, didn't it?

Kaze no Nokutaan [Wind's Nocturne]
This song concerns the pain of being brought into the world.  The
production specs call for "a heroine who's bewildered and, worse, doesn't 
realize she's bewildered".  It is impossible for the song not to be 
dramatic.  Luhna's on-deck boat scene was the one place that caused 
headaches for not only myself but much of my creative staff.

Eternal Blue: Eien no Omoi [Eternal Blue: Thoughts of Eternity]
Chisa-chan [Chisa Yokoyama, Lucia's (among many other anime characters)
seiyuu] is such a wonderful singer, isn't she?  Naturally, I think so.  
Lucia was a difficult role in many respects, but we were so grateful that
she nailed every demand we could throw at her.  Incidentally, Chisa-chan 
is the very first champ of the Lunar vocal grand prix.  [I don't know if 
they're just praising Yokoyama's vocal talents, or if the seiyuu were
involved in some goofy driving-game competition, or what.]
