The food I would most like to try is a mooseburger! They sound like some of the best burgers ever - of course, I'd like to wash it down with Squunk water.

I wouldn't mind trying anything by Mrs Cobb! The one that sticks in my mind though is Ginger pear salad, as I adore ginger and pears. I think it was from T.C.W. Knew Shakespeare, but I'm open to corrections.

Fishy Fritters! Actually, no, I wouldn't touch them if you paid me. If you haven't already ran gagging to the restroom, the one food I'd really like most to try is possibly a pasty. As soon as I find out what a pasty is.
(Maintainer's Note: I would like to note at this juncture that I have indeed tried a pasty myself and found it to be quite dreadful - a dense, tasteless lump that just sank to the pit of my stomach and stayed there for about three days. But, then again, I should note that the pasty was a) supermarket-bought frozen food and b) made in Montana. And people up here put brown sauce on their spaghetti, fergodsake, so I'm not expecting great culinary magic from this state on any level, y'know what I'm sayin'?)

I don't like to eat meat so the food I would most like to try would be Iris Cobb's macaroni and cheese. Also any of her desserts. Those pasties really sound nasty to me even though I do like turnip.

I would like to taste Squunk water or kabibbles. Just the names sound unbelievable enough to try them at least once. Think of what conversation starters they would make! I think a good poll question might be to have your loyal readers come up with recipes for some of these foods mentioned in LJB's books. (Maintainer's note: Cat Who... recipes are always welcome here. Readers?) Better yet, LJB should print Iris Cobb's Cook Book. Best seller being spoken of here!
