For me it's a toss-up between Koko yelling "yow!" when the justice of the peace asks if there is anyone who knows why this couple should not be joined in marriage at the wedding ceremony of Iris Cobb and Herb Hackpole and Qwill bumping his head on the castle door-frame in Scotland when someone yells "look out!". Maybe I've got a weird sense of humour but that cracked me up for some reason. I think it was Qwill's reaction afterward. I'm sure there are many more funny moments but those are the two that come to mind right now.

I think the funniest thing in the Cat Who series was in The Cat Who Came to Breakfast. Yum Yum found a piece of paper and Qwill tried to take it away from her. ""N-n-now!" she wailed, seeing her prize confiscated. "N-n-no!" he retorted."" And Yum Yum goes off to sulk. :)

I think it was hilarious when (in ... Who Wasn't There) Hixie, Fran, Lori, Polly and Margaret appeared on stage to give/receive Women of Distinction Awards, all dressed in batwing capes and cairngorm brooches, compliments of Qwill, of course.

My favorite is when Hixie gets her hair caught on fire in "The Cat Who Saw Red." She is such a riot! Also when at the breakfast table, while the poor, pathetic dear is spooning sour cream in her coffee, she remarks how Charlotte Roop must have a dark side, due to her liking for charity work and rigid rules, and Robert Maus (later "Roberto") calls her a "nasty young lady" to which Hixie just responds with "Hurry up with the French toast, Marron Baby!"
The runner up is when in "The Cat Who Wasn't There", Qwilleran says "I'm going to Scotland alone!" and Koko says "YOW!" And then Qwilleran says "That's right, alone!" and Yum Yum says "NNOW!" and both the cats are "Yow!"ing and "NNow!"ing.

Mark

Qwilleran dressed as Santa Claus, wearing a too-small suit and ripping his pants!

I think the funniest moments are when the cats are "posed" for a beautiful picture, when the camera is produced they automatically get themselves into "bathing" positions. Everytime that happens I always laugh...most of the time out loud too.

I think the funniest moment was when Haggis (i think) said that Koko sounds like a 'dirty old ram'!

Barbara

Yargle! What a great word! It's Koko's affirmative response to Qwill while choking down one of those godawful meals which should have killed him and Yum Yum years ago. Incidentally, why no vet in the cast of Mooseville characters??
