Responses to "What question would you most like to see answered about the Cat Who... series? (This can be a "will this ever happen?" question, something that was never clarified or resolved in the books, etc.)":

I have more than one question, if I can cheat!
1.(Well, why not?!) Is it possible Qwill sired a child during that one wild night with Mary Duckworth. Said "Qwill-let" would be about eight by now, would Ms.Duckworth ever decide to come visit?
2. Fanny Klingenschoen apparently had a son who died, would this son have sired any children (even illegit) who decided to track down the family ties?
3. Celia Robinson's stodgy son--could he be the "new boyfriend" (now husband?) of Mrs. Cobb's former daughter-in-law, the angry Mrs.Hough? It's a long shot, but hard to resist the idea.
4. Will Russell Simms ever return? Saw Stars, for all its silliness, would have been enlightened by her.
5. What ever happened to the Countess, or the other borders, in Lived High?

Amanda

Ok, this is a little vague, because I don't remember which book, maybe The Cat Who Went Underground; it's one of the books where Qwill and the cats are at the cabin. Anyway, in one of the books there is a woman who is in Mooseville for no apparent reason. She looks very sad, has strange-looking eyes, and spends much time on the beach. It is NOT Onoosh from The Cat Who Said Cheese. I think Qwill may even have a conversation with her at one point. But the reason for her presence and how she ties in to the story line was never clear to me. Does anyone hae an answer for me? [Note: The gal is the Russell Patch to whom Ann alluded earlier, and it was indeed Went Underground in which she appeared. Russell Patch appears to be one big enigma, doesn't she?]

I would like to see Qwill finally get fed up with Polly's jealous behaviour and find someone more suitable. I see him with someone less stuffy and who understands and appreciates his writing skills and ambitions (or lack thereof) as well as being able to share the insights the cats provide.

Lara

I saw that one person was interested in the mysterious girl in TCW Went Underground. Her name was Russell Simms, not Russell Patch. [Maintainer's note: Oops, that's my fault.] I would like answers to that too. It was painful reading about her dilated pupils and thin figure.

Germaine

I was wondering if Ms. Braun ever explained why she eliminated the lovely Iris Cobb, and also, more recently, the sweet little book shop owner, Edd. [Maintainer's Note: Iris's demise was somewhat explained in one of the Barnes & Noble chats (accessable via the Links section), but no word on Edd yet, sadly.]
