other Pendroy families. It is believed these Pendroy
families were descended from William

A publication entitled "The Ruddick Family in America" by John W. Hanneman, on page 12 he lists James Pendry and Jemima Rudduck, and notes "James Pendry, who later served in the Revolution". Since Hanneman correctly lists James Pendry's known and identified three children (Sarah Pendry, Eli Pendry, and Dinah Pendry) it is safe to assume the information is correct, not withstanding the (yet again) example of the Reddick/Ruddick variant spelling, as previously mentioned.

August 24, 2009 note: Several researchers over the past few years ago
have suggested Mary Ann Wiseman's parents are John Wiseman, born Dec. 12, 1773, and
Elizabeth Seibert. John Wiseman is the son of Thomas Born 1748 in Virginia and Christina
Wiseman. I am considering this a tentative identification, and agree with it myself , and
am hoping future research turns up some linking documentation.
