Peter Price and wife Eveline (Pendroy) Price and family in 1860 Wayne Township, Tippecanoe County Indiana census. Also: Neighbors to other Pendroy families. It is believed these Pendroy families were descended from William Ellis Pendroy.

Note: I did find in public records online that the below Drusilla Pendroy listed was named Drusilla Kirtley, before she married this Joseph Pendroy.

(Note: The marriage record online in the Kirtley site is mistakenly spelled: Pend(E)roy).

Pendroy, North Dakota pioneer women and children at a quilting party around 1888. Left to right: Myrtle Robinson, Liza Histness, Gertrude(daughter of Susie Pendroy)Pendroy, Susie (Messinger) Pendroy, Lizzie(daughter of Susie Pendroy)Pendroy, Mrs. McKay, Alzie(directly under the deer)Allan, Jessie Robinson Pendroy who was Mrs. Levi Pendroy , Sarah Pendroy(the oldest woman is Sarah (Baldwin) Pendroy) who is Mrs. James Martin Pendroy and she is the only adult on the right side of the table), Lulu(LuLu or Luella is the daughter of Jessie (Robinson) Pendroy)Pendroy: and is the small child in lower RH corner, and under the quilt: Beatrice(daughter of Susie Pendroy)Pendroy (this child apparently is in the white blanket on the floor under the quilt).

The pictured quilt is highlighted as one of the oldest known quilts in North Dakota. This picture was taken at the Post Office in Pendroy, ND during a neighborhood quilting bee. The photo is one of the oldest in North Dakota showing women working at this handcraft.

A publication entitled "The Ruddick Family in America" by John W. Hanneman, on page 12 he lists James Pendry and Jemima Rudduck, and notes "James Pendry, who later served in the Revolution". Since Hanneman correctly lists James Pendry's known and identified three children (Sarah Pendry, Eli Pendry, and Dinah Pendry) it is safe to assume the information is correct, not withstanding the (yet again) example of the Reddick/Ruddick variant spelling, as previously mentioned.

John W. Hanneman, on page 12 he lists James Pendry and Jemima Rudduck, and notes "James Pendry, who later served in the Revolution".

August 24, 2009 note: Several researchers over the past few years ago have suggested Mary Ann Wiseman's parents are John Wiseman, born Dec. 12, 1773, and Elizabeth Seibert. John Wiseman is the son of Thomas Born 1748 in Virginia and Christina Wiseman. I am considering this a tentative identification, and agree with it myself , and am hoping future research turns up some linking documentation.
