This map shows JM Pendroy residence  in Section 18 and also showing farmsteads of surnames Baldwin, Donnell, Pendroy, Simpson, Raney, Tice, Wilson  & others.

Otley, Iowa is on the right side and the old pioneer town of Red Rock is visible on the bottom left. The Pioneer town of Red Rock was emptied out and people relocated, and the entire Des Moines River basin where the towns were,  was flooded when the "Red Rock" Lake (Flood Control Reservoir) was filled in 1969. The town of Dunreath, which was near Red Rock, Iowa was flooded along with some other small farm towns. Many are visible on this map.

The top of the map is the Marion County and Jasper County line and Monroe, Iowa  is one-half mile north of the county line.
