The gentleman I would like to talk to you about is a man who first consulted me in December of 1996, and since then I have treated many people in his family. Aaron (all names are fictitious) was sixty years old when I first met him. He had suffered badly from indigestion for twelve years, and had lost a lot of weight in the last few years. He said he couldn't eat anything during the day and was virtually fainting. Then he would get hunger pangs at 7 p.m., where he couldn't eat fast enough to satisfy the hunger. Three to four hours after he ate he would experience terrible gas and bloating. The gas would rise into his chest, causing a lot of pain and making him feel like he was having a heart attack. Four years earlier he was diagnosed as having high cholesterol and borderline diabetes. None of the treatment he had received thus far had helped him.

Aaron also felt very cold and had very low blood pressure. His hands and feet would get bluish, and he would feel chilliness going up his right arm. After urinating he did not feel that his bladder was completely empty, and he would have to go again in an hour. He was very exhausted between five and six in the evening.

When he had indigestion his toes would hurt, swell and redden. He also suffered from sinus infections, and itchiness of his upper body at night. Aaron had a craving for potatoes, cheese, warm milk, fruit, soups and chocolate. He loved to travel, and was very neat and orderly. He was nervous if family members were not well, and was afraid of getting diabetes.

At Aaron's follow-up visit in February of 1997, five weeks after he received his first dose of the remedy 80% of his symptoms had already improved. He received a second dose in October of 1999 after the indigestion started to return. He has not required any more of the remedy since then. The remedy Aaron received was Carcinosin, which I described in the last issue of the newsletter.

I consider Aaron's case to be a beautiful demonstration of the effectiveness of homeopathy in treating chronic diseases of long standing. Aaron has enjoyed excellent health for four years and needed only two doses of a homeopathic remedy during all that time. What other health care system can deliver such incredible results.

Aaron has been a patient of mine for seven years, and in that time he has only needed a total of three doses of the same medicine. He is in excellent health and has referred many people to me over the years.
