Note (Dec. 2003): The Museum is in the process of designing a new museum in an existing 100-year-old plus building located in the heart of the historic district. During this phase the hours are limited to 9am to 12pm, Tuesday through Friday. You may call to schedule your research visit with the county historian during these hours. Exhibits are being designed and the archive/research room is still under construction. Please call ahead, as they would like to accommodate as many information requests from researchers, students, and the public as possible.
