Therapists' Credentials
Ed Langham, ACSW, graduated from Michigan State
University School of Social Work in 1981. Over the last 32 years, he has worked
with the handicapped, seniors, adolescents, families, couples, and individuals
in varied settings. He received training in Eye Movement Desensitization
and Reprocessing in 1993, an exciting treatment method that helps remove
the stress associated with traumatic and disturbing events. He is pleased that there
is now an easier and faster method to remove this kind of emotional
distress.
Roberta Bidwell, ACSW, graduated from the University of Michigan
School of Social Work in 1981. She has worked in mental health settings for 26
years, with individuals, couples, and families. Her specialties include life
adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, and dysfunctional family systems with
patterns of addiction or abuse. She also serves as the Administrative
Director.
Working as a team, with differing specialties, treatment
approaches, and availability, we seek to match clients with the therapist best
suited to assist them. Information is gathered during your phone contact for
this purpose. Client's physicians or community psychiatrists are utilized as
needed. If for some reason we are unable to assist you, we will suggest
alternate resources.
