Entry Deadlines and Forms

Although the meeting itself starts at 7:30 PM, on competition nights the deadline for entering slides is 7:15 PM.

Members can enter a total of four images in all media with a maximum of three in any one category. See Slide Categories below for the categories

One slide entry form must be completed and submitted for each slide before the deadline. The slide entry form can be printed on either white or yellow paper. It is available for download in PDF format and Word format. Please print or computer type your title on the forms.

Slide Labeling and Projection

H Projected H Normal Slides should be marked with a dot in the lower left corner of the slide in its normal viewing position.

The title should be placed on the same side and beside the dot AFTER it has been inverted.

V Normal V Projected The title on vertical slides may be across the top or on the right side after inversion.

Category should be on the front of the slide. Group A or B is not currently used for slides.

V Back H Back The maker's name must not appear on the front of the slide. The member's name and the club name or initials (LG/SAR) should be on the back of the slide.

There may be no changes made in the viewing position once the slide has been shown (with the exception of projectionist error).

Slide Winners on the Web Site

This web site includes small jpg files of slides placing first, second, and third in each category if the slides are given to the slide scanner or if scans of the slides are emailed to the web master in the correct format.
