Jack Rooney Motion Picture Corporation was founded by Jack Rooney, an international film star with more than two decades of experience in show business and a renowned celebrity with expertise in motion picture production and distribution.
As the name suggests, Mr. Rooney formed the Corporation to research and develop, produce and manage feature motion pictures – to search out market specific investments in motion pictures that offer investors opportunities to earn above average returns with the lowest degree of risk possible.
"We offer several investment opportunities", explains Rooney. " Because we live in a rapidly changing and uncertain economy, the focus of our investments changes from time to time as market conditions dictate. The Internet, changes in technology, and advances in digital imaging technology are radically changing the rules within the entire traditional filmmaking arena. Thanks to the opening of new markets for independent filmmakers, there are a number of markets options now available to us which make investing in a movie less expensive and lowers the risk for the first time ever.
At this time we are recommending several different investment opportunities. While we have in the past made recommendations in the more mainstream films produced by traditional production methods, based on radical changes in technology, we are now convinced more than ever that now is the time for concentrating on digital film production. We have a variety of different intellectual properties to choose from, however, at this time we are recommending two different film productions. One is titled "Nemesis", a futuristic mystery thriller we are producing in association with Nemesis Limited Liability Company, and secondly, a Sci-fi horror thriller titled "Overdose". In either case, it is possible to get started with as little as $1,000 down for one unit of equity ownership in either one of these two productions.
"An investor may earn 12 percent or more (APR/ROI) on the investment based on the property’s ability to generate cash flow, even if the property does not appreciate immediately and is not a blockbuster," explains Mr. Rooney, adding that some of the completed film properties starring Rooney are projected to generate 15 to 20 percent reruns on investments (APR/ROI), though accurate long-term projections are difficult to make. The recent copyright protection extension granted to media producers by Congress of the United States under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act now protects film and music media for a period of 95 years.
Jack Rooney Motion Picture Corporations is currently offering LLC Units of equity ownership to accredited investors in film projects with production budgets under $5,000,000. We have acquired the rights to a number of screenplays, treatments, musical compositions, sound scores, and songs, and all projects are either in production, various stages of production, or in line for production according to our production timeline for these projects. We are on schedule.
