P-47 gun camera frame shows final moments of an Me 262. Allied planes lurked around German jet bases catching the 262 during takeoff and landing - its most vulnerable time. American recon photo showing results of April 1945 bombing raid on München-Riem airport. Buildings in upper right are hangers and workshops. Bombing raids were a constant nuisance and many aircraft were lost not directly from bombs but from hitting craters during takeoffs and landings.		The kettenkrad was used for ground movement of the Me 262. Galland used the Feldkirchen Children's home as the JV44 Gefechtsstand while at München-Riem.
