John Benjamin Tatum was born on 22 July 1968 in Anaheim, California. He is an incomplete paraplegic due to Peripheral Neuropathy (aka "nerve ganglion damage") as a result of Guillain-Barré Syndrome, but he is functionally a quadriplegic due to severe Osteoarthritis in both arms. He also suffers from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. He graduated from El Dorado High School in Placentia, California in 1986, and has attended the University of California at Los Angeles and Cypress College in Cypress, California. He has been a business consultant, a world-traveled professional lecturer, a chaplain, and a Vice President in charge of Operations for a public relations agency. He also has been awarded a Doctorate of Divinity and a Ph.D. in Pastoral Counseling. After his heart attack in 1988, he retired, and went on permanent disability. Daniel Martin Cheuka was born on 12 February 1957 in Mansfield, Ohio. He has had spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy since birth. He graduated from Malabar High School in Mansfield, Ohio in 1975, and received his Associate in Applied Business Science from North Central Technical College in Mansfield, Ohio in 1986. He has also attended Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio and Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. He also is a published poet. He has been a mailroom clerk, an advertising newsletter editor, an audio-visual aide, and a factory worker. However, these jobs have been mostly subsidized. He has tried to find regular employment, but has been unable to due to discrimination until the Lord blessed him at age 43. After years of discrimination, on 19 June 2000, he started working for Meijer Stores Limted Partnership - A Million Reasons, A Single Store., a "one-stop" department-grocery store chain based in Grand Rapids, MI. He works at their Mansfield/Ontario, Ohio store as a stock clerk in the Automotive and Sporting Goods departments as well as a cashier in the Sporting Goods department, and his goal is now to become a "Team Leader" (department supervisor)...(BAD NEWS ABOUT MEIJER AS OF JUNE 2001).
