Boats -and - Bees

On water Training.Harold and Andi near Harvest, AL.

Boats and Bees pretty much occupy my time in my retirement days, interspersed with an occasional fishing trip or golf outing. The boating scene was taken during an Auxiliary Member training exercise conducted in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. In this exercise one Auxiliary boat is preparing to take another Auxiliary boat in a stern tow under the watchful eye of a Qualified Examiner. The stern tow is one of four annual tasks required to be performed by all Crew and Coxswain members in order for them to maintain currency of rank. The Bee photo was taken in a wooded area near Huntsville, Alabama that was being cleared of recent tornado damage. A colony of bees was recovered from a tree that was cut down. One of my Grandsons, Andi Green, assisted me in this effort.
