Vermont For Lovers

Snow capped mountains,
Clean fresh mountain streams.
Fire places crackling,
Warming the night's chilled air.
Everywhere you look,
Mountain forest cover the hills.
Off in the distance the eye can see,
Streams of ice cold water
Cascading to the valleys below.
Perched on the side of a mountain,
Rugged and rustic from the times of old,
A mountain cabin, roof covered with snow.
The smell of aged hardwood burning,
You nestle around the stone built fireplace.
The walls around the rooms,
Give warmth with its natural look.
Out in the distance through the window,
A white-tailed deer grazing in the snow,
As the winter snow covered mountains,
Hide the spring's red clover flowers.
Wild life abundant, of various kinds,
In the green mountain valleys under the sun.
The mountain streams are filled,
With fish, beavers and more.
This mountain, snow covered paradise,
Warms the heart as the fire warms the room.
Gives the wonder of being in nature,
A vision you will capture,
Placed in your mind, your memories,
For all of your time.
