Universe Unfolding

Centuries ago, times of past,
The earth was spinning and creating.
No highways or skyscrapers,
Just trees in the forest.
No factories or homes,
Only sands in the deserts.
No airplanes and jets,
But birds of all species.
No televisions and radios,
Yet music was all around.
No three piece suits or dinner gowns,
Covered by loin cloths and robes.
No cruise ships or tankers,
Just rafting over the waters.
No computers or technology,
Communication through smoke or sound.
No central heat or air conditioning,
Warmed by fire, cooled by wind.
No automobiles or trains,
Traveling by horse back or foot.
No atomic bombs and lead filled shells,
But arrows, swords and spears.
No friends across the ocean,
Only neighbors beyond the ridge.
No enemies throughout the world,
But your enemies near to home.
No danger of man made pollutants,
Just pollutants from the earth.
No cities filled with mass confusion,
Villages scattered across the lands.
No space travel into deep space,
Only visions of twinkles in the skies.
No thought of invasion of other worlds,
Just the dangers of being invaded by another tribe.
No weapons of mass destruction orbiting the planet,
But simple weapons to protect the home.
Where did it start and where will it end,
The universe is old, yet the future is new.
