Titanic
A catastrophe in time,
Remembered from that day on.
Hundreds of people together,
To live, to see, to experience and to die.
Greed, compassion, love and anger,
All expressed at the moment of doom.
Men and women, young or old,
Their lives dangling on a string.
Beginning with banners and parties,
This voyage was to make history.
A history to end in tragedy.
Heroes were born that day,
But many of them also died.
Not only do the good die young,
Death will take us all.
Couples were separated,
Yet others refused to go,
Allowing their fate to seal their love.
Treasures were lost, too many to count,
The treasures of so many lives,
For a future they would never see.
As it ended and only a few survived,
They will relive it over and over.
