I was born August 25 th. of 1948, the youngest of 6. I am 5 feet 10 inches, about 165-175 pounds (ok, so I fluctuate), blue eyes and considered by many to be a "BRAT"... I enjoy people!!! I have done a lot of different things in my life. But for the last 30+ years I have been in construction, last 12+ years at the shipyard. I am a finish carpenter.
I have written poems off and on over the years. Never really intended for others to read them. For years in school I never was encouraged to write, so I never did much and what I did, I just threw away. I wrote a few in the 70's, 80's, 90's and now in the 2000s.
New Years of 1998, I started writing again.
I have what I call my "kids", I have 7 very sweet and loving birds. I love all animals, nature, the beach, the earth, being a naturalist, and everything all around us. I thrive on friends and do not take friendships lightly.
I would like to get out of construction. But, I enjoy fixing stuff up...
