FOTD -- January 07, 2009   (Rating 8)

Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

Sorry for the lateness.

Due to unforseen circumstances, today's FOTD is posted without comment.   But this does not mean it is worth little.   It is in fact worth an 8.   I strongly recommend taking 3-1/2 minutes to run the included parameter file or taking a couple minutes to hustle over to the FOTD web site at:to see why I named the image "Intricate Tapestry".

Tuesday dawned clear here at Fractal Central.   Clouds moved in by 9am.   Light snow arrived at 3pm.   It changed to freezing rain at sunset.   The temperature of 30F -1C was not too chilly, but it was chilly enough for ice.   The fractal cats meowed their disapproval.

My day was quite busy.   The next FOTD, the one for January 8, will likely be late again.   Until the next time, take care, and if we ever found how to create life from its basic elements in a test tube, would it show that God is not necessary for life to develop, or that an outside intelligence is necessary?
