FOTD -- October 08, 2008   (No Rating)

Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

NEW FORMULA ALERT!

Today's image was created with a new formula.   The new formula is a slight generalization of the DivideBrot5a formula, and adds a new variable parameter as well as a variable function applied to 'C'.   The result takes us pretty much back to where the DivideBrot series began.

Since I don't feel like writing a discussion, I will not write one.   It's up to the image to speak for itself.

To see the image and hear it speak, (figuratively, that is), visit the FOTD web site at:
http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html
or run the included parameter file and wait a few seconds.

Due to the media-induced financial panic, and a panicky FL to calm down, I feel an uncontrollable burst of philosophy coming on, and when I start philosophizing, nothing is sacred.   So watch out do-everything-for-everybody politics, rational science, faith-based religion and feel-good dreamy New-Age mysticism.   But fear not, at least not yet.   The time for philosophy has not yet come.

The weather was normal for the season on Tuesday.   (59F 15C)   The fractal cats were their normal selves.   My day was restless.   The next FOTD will be posted in 24 hours.   Until then, take care, but do as you will.
