Fractal of the Day

Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's image lies in the debris along the southern shore line of the main bay of yesterday's fractal image, which is then the parent fractal of today's image. This fractal, when its inside is not decorated, resembles nothing as much as a quail brooding a clutch of eggs. But such things are for the birds. I named today's image "How Now Brown Cow", which I admit makes no sense at all. Of course this is no surprise. As FL often tells me, if I had any sense, I would devote far less time and energy to the useless FOTD. But then I tell FL that some people just cannot see the worth in these fascinating images. I rated today's image at a 4, which might be a gift. I found it in less than 5 minutes, and gave it far too little coloring effort. Hot weather makes me lazy. The calculation time of a mere 1-1/4 minutes can be improved upon only by viewing the already-calculated image, which is or soon will be posted on the FOTD web site at: Continued heat and blazing sun made Monday a very lazy day here at Fractal Central. The high temperature of 97F 31C made swimming and boating the activities of choice. The fractal cats' activity of choice was sleeping, and my activity was clearing away the work. The next FOTD will appear in 24 hours. Until then, take care, and if life serves up a lemon, make a lemon fractal. Jim Muth jamth@mindspring.com jimmuth@aol.com |
