Fractal of the Day

Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Since I was busy on Saturday, out having fun for a change, I had no time for a FOTD search. But to avoid fractal disappointment I resurrected a fractal that I found several weeks ago, and gave it a second chance. I named the image "Second Chance". One glimpse will show why it failed its first chance. The mixed-up fractal has little going for it but a random scattering of randomly colored elements rendered with the outside set to 'tdis'. I did not dare rate the image. I hate to give a fractal a rating of a negative number. I think the image is located in a string of holes down the center of a valley of its parent, but I'm not sure. One thing I am sure of however is the 3-1/2 minute calculation time on my fractal-dedicated 2000mhx machine. The time is automatically written in the parameter file. As almost always, the finished image is available on the FOTD web site at: F.L. and I made the most of the perfect weather that prevailed here at Fractal Central on Saturday, while the fractal cats complained about being left alone most of the day.
