FOTD -- February 28, 2008   (No Rating)

Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

I'm still doing double duty, so the discussion is brief.

Today's scene lies in the East Valley of the large minibrot on the main stem of the Z^(2.0000001)+C Mandeloid.   In this fractal the main stem is not a single infinitely thin line; it has broken into a narrow but infinitely divided band of parallel lines with a definite measureable width.   Today's image lies at the edge of this band of lines.

Putting almost no effort into the image, I gave it neither name nor rating, but it's still unusual enough to be worth a trip to the FOTD web site at:
http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html
where it is or soon will be posted.   Those who choose to run the included parameter file will find its 1-1/2 minutes quite fast.

Clouds, chilly winds, flurries of snow and a temperature of freezing made Wednesday rather unpleasant here at Fractal Central.   The cats agreed, while I was kept busy with double work.   The next FOTD will appear close to its appointed time.   Until then, take care, and the answer will be given.
