Fractal of the Day

Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: We just can't seem to get all our acts together here at Fractal Central. Now that I have pretty much recovered from the Susquehanna Flu, fractal lady has come down with a case of it, and I must do her share of the design work for the duration. Luckily, we are well stocked with many varieties of chicken soup. Today's image shows a hyper-minibrot in the East Valley area of the Hyper-Mandelbrot set. I named it "The Inside is Outside". What looks like inside fill in the minibrot's interior is actually 'outside' stuff ready to be explored in the normal manner and quite interesting. In fact, as tomorrow's FOTD, I'll post a scene that lies on the inside of the minibrot in today's image. The calculation time of 48 seconds will certainly offend no one. And it is equally convenient to surf over to the FOTD web site at: Beautiful sunshine and a temperature of 45F 7C made Monday a winter day to be remembered here at Fractal Central. The fractal cats agreed as they got their noses in the chicken soup. The next FOTD will be posted in 24 hours. Until then, take care, and know the unknown.
