FOTD -- February 25, 2008   (No Rating)

Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

Today's quickie image deserves neither name nor rating, and it receives neither.   It's a scene in the Z^(2.003)+C Mandeloid, and it's located just east of the large midget complex on the main stem of its parent, in an area that at least to me looks like a railroad switching yard.

In the Julia sets of this area, curious rectangles often appear, though I have never seen rectangles in the Mandelbrot slices.

The calculation time of 1-1/4 minutes is fast enough to keep everyone happy.   The finished image is also posted on the FOTD web site at:
http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html

Full brilliant sun prevailed here at Fractal Central on Sunday.   The temperature of 39F 4C and light winds made it feel almost like spring, though the snow still on the ground hardly gave an impression of flowers ready to bloom.   The fractal cats kept much to themselves.   Maybe they don't like my grouchy mood of late.

The next FOTD will be posted in all its glory in 24 hours.   Until then, take care, and get with the flow.
