FOTD -- November 27, 2007   (No Rating)

Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

I have little to say about today's very hasty Fractal of the Day except to advise the viewers to enjoy it as much as possible.   It's a scene in the parent fractal that results when 4.5 negative parts of Z^(-1.4) are combined with 1.4 negative parts of Z^(-4.5) and then (1/C) is added.

This parent fractal is an overblown thing consisting of numerous bays and rings.   Today's scene is located in a valley separating the two largest bays.   I put too little effort into the image to give it a rating, though I did name it "Orchid Orcas".   But do not bother to ask the meaning of the name.   It makes no sense to me either.

The parameter file takes a little over 3 minutes to finish.   The best way to see the image is to go to the FOTD web site at:
http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html
and view it there at leisure.

An all-day rain made Monday most unpleasant here at Fractal Central.   The temperature of 43F 6C was fair enough, but no one was able to enjoy it.   The fractal cats enjoyed the rainy day however . . . from the comfort of the warm radiator.

My day turned unexpectedly busy when a rush job came in, but the work was accomplished and delivered with little difficulty.   The next FOTD fractal will be posted in 24 hours.   Until then, take care, and make it real.
