Fractal of the Day

Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: The power was out most all afternoon here at Fractal Central, and there was also a sizable job to finish. As a result I had no time to find a worthy fractal for today. But this situation has been prepared for. I had a marginal fractal stored away for a rainy day, and today was that rainy day. I named the image "Emergency Back-up", though I gave it no rating. If I had had more time to work on it, I might have brought it up to a level worth a rating. The image lies in the parent fractal that results when 1/10th negative part of Z^(-6.2) is combined with 1 negative part of Z^(-1.2) and (1/C) is added. The included parameter file finishes in 2-1/4 minutes, about the same time it will take to go to the FOTD web site at: A very hot and muggy day, with a temperature of 93F 34F here at Fractal Central on Tuesday was interrupted by a short but violent thunder-storm in the afternoon. The only bad effect on F.C. however was a power outage. The cats watched the excitement from their theater-seat window. The next FOTD will appear in 24 hours.
