Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's harmless scene lies in the parent fractal that comes into being when the formula Z^(1.5)+C is calculated 85 levels up the complex logarithmic ladder. At this height the formula creates an indescribable Mandeloid rotated 180 degrees. Today's image is located in a disconnected filament just northwest of the main open area. Since I spent less than 5 minutes finding the image and less than 10 minutes working on it, I could not give it a name or rating. Basically, the image shows another of those fractured midgets that inhabit the fractals in the borderline area between Z+C and Z2+C. The calculation time of 3-1/2 minutes is fair enough for this image of everyday quality. And to make things even more convenient, the completed image is posted for viewing on the FOTD web site at: An unusually warm day for the end of winter, with a high temperature of 73F 23C, was marred by light showers in the afternoon. Meanwhile, the fractal cats finally decided there was nothing hiding in the kitchen cabinets, and spent the better part of the day sleeping. I spent the better part of my day working. The work is finally slowing down, but still is well above average. The next FOTD will likely appear in 24 hours. If not, it will appear in 48 hours.
