FOTD -- February 09, 2007   (No Rating)

Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

Today's pleasant fractal has nothing unusual to boast.   It is simply an attractively colored midget in the parent fractal that results when 2 parts of Z^(0.25) are combined with Z2, and C is added.

This parent fractal is basically a Mandelbrot set twisted out of its familiar shape and surrounded with extra debris and assorted holes.   Ignoring all the extra stuff, I found today's scene in the East Valley area of the parent.

Since the image is so ordinary, I gave it no name or rating.   But it is still a well-colored image that renders in a short 5-1/2 minutes.   The image may also be seen by viewing it on the FOTD web site at:
http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html

The sun shone brilliantly here at Fractal Central on Thursday, but the cold temperature of 27F -3C and a brisk wind made it quite unpleasant to be out of doors.   The fractal cats do not go out of doors, so they were unconcerned.

My day was far too busy for comfort.   The next FOTD will likely appear in 24 hours.   Until then, take care, and iterate strongly.
