Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

Today's image reminds me of a screen full of lips giving kisses.   Being of a romantic nature, I named it "Love Letter".

The parent fractal came about when I combined Z^2 and Z^0.2 before adding C.   This parent fractal resembles a Mandelbrot set surrounded by smaller M-sets, with a bite taken out of the area where the largest bud should be.   There is much extra chaotic debris just beyond the area of the bite.   Today's scene is located in this debris.

The image rates an honest 6, not that it is such a great work of fractal art, but because it shows some rather unusual fractal features.

The render time of 2 minutes is fast enough to make running the included parameter file a simple task.   But to do a simple task sometimes requires a simple machine, and some SOTA units are far from simple.   Those with one of these over-qualified units can see the love letter by going to the FOTD web site at:
http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html
and viewing it there.

Clouds and a chilly temperature of 45F 7C made conditions less than ideal here at Fractal Central on Saturday.   For some reason other than the weather, the fractal cats were unusually subdued most all day.   They didn't come to life until the time for their evening treats arrived.

My day was subdued also.   But then it's hard to be very active with a bum ankle.   The inability to be active has its good side however.   Not only am I getting a lot of TLC, but I have lots of time for fractals.   The next one will appear in 24 hours.   Until then, take care, but don't be so careful that you miss out on all the fun.
