Fractal Visionaries and Enthusiasts: The work is still quite heavy, and is likely to remain so until Friday. I would like to add a few comments to the self-awareness thread on the Philofractal list, but I simply have no time for it. Today's super-quickie FOTD is a scene in the Mandelbrot set. It is neither named nor rated. How could I name or rate an image that took less than 2 minutes to find and only 44 seconds to render, on a 133mhz machine at that. With an image that calculates in only seconds, it will hardly be necessary to download the completed image from the FOTD web site. The next FOTD will probably appear in 24 hours.
