Fractal of the Day

FOTD -- April 16, 2006   (No Rating)

Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

Today's image exists in a valley of the fractal that results when 0.2 parts of Z^(-8.4) are combined with Z^(-1.3) and (1/C) is added.   I gave it no name or rating, and very little comment.

The included parameter file runs in 7-3/4 minutes, which is relatively fast.   To make the viewing even faster, the completed image has been posted on the FOTD web site at:
http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html
from where it may be instantly downloaded.

Threatening clouds and a few distant rumbles of thunder here at Old Fractal Central on Saturday afternoon did not spoil an otherwise near-perfect day for the fractal cats.

But with plenty of work to catch up on, I had little time to enjoy the great weather.   And I see we have been invited by a friend of fractal lady to an Easter something tomorrow, so I might not have a chance to post a FOTD on April 17th.   But worry not.   The next in the apparently endless string of fractals of varying quality will appear almost certainly by Tuesday, April 18.   Until then, take care, and be right or left, whatever you think is right.
