FOTD -- March 16, 2006   (No Rating)

Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

Today's belated FOTD is a Julia set of the middle of the main bay of the Z^(sqrt(2))+C Mandeloid as it appears 16 levels up the log ladder.   Most of the fractal consists of inside stuff made visible by the 'bof61' inside fill.

Putting only 10 minutes into the entire effort, I could not give it a name or rating.   The 13 minute render time makes a download of the completed image the better choice.   That download will be available on the FOTD web site at:
http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html

Though it may be an hour or two before Paul has a chance to render and post the image.

High winds and chilly temperatures kept the fractal cats solidly inside all day Wednesday here at Old Fractal Central.

Unexpected work kept me solidly busy.   The next FOTD is supposed to appear in about 16 hours.   Whether or not it does depends on how things go for the rest of today.   Until next time, hopefully in 16 hours, take care, and be curious.
