FOTD -- March 03, 2006   (Not Rated)

Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

Today's FOTD will be the last until next Tuesday, March 07.   Have no fear, the FOTD will return on schedule at that time.

Today's very fast image takes us to the 555th level of the Z^(1.1)+C fractal, where we find a starburst-like Julia set.

Since I put almost no effort into the image, I could give it neither name nor rating.   The render time of 37-1/2 seconds shows how little time I devoted to today's FOTD image.

The finished GIF image is available as always on the FOTD web site at:
http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html

Cloudy skies, occasional showers of rain, and a temperature of 39F 4C kept the fractal cats confined indoors here at Old Fractal Central on Thursday.   Their moods were hard to determine however, since they did little but sleep and eat.

My mood was grouchy, due to too much work and too little time.   But somehow the fractal managed to get itself found.   In a like manner, the next fractal will also manage to be found, but not for 4 days.   Until this same time four days from now, wax philosophic if you can find him.
