FOTD -- April 08, 2004   (Rating NR)

Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts:

Watching the news this morning, I see that the president might be guilty of not having a proven fortune teller in his administration.   And I am likewise guilty of not knowing in advance that I would lack the time to complete a FOTD fractal.   But I do have a test fractal, and it is this test that I present as today's image.

The image is a study in outside=fmod and inside=bof60.   The formula is once again the MandelbrotMix5way, with the real(p5) parameter acting as the critical starting point of Z.

Since the image was not completed, I have not rated it.   The render time of 15 minutes can be bypassed by downloading the finished GIF image file from the FOTD web site at:
http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html

The temperature reached 75F 24C here at Fractal Central on Wednesday.   At the same time the wind was light and the sun was bright -- conditions that make fractal cats happy.   Their day was as pleasant as senior cats could hope for.   Today is again starting mild, but it is cloudy, and rain is a possibility.

Today promises to again be very busy.   So I had best apply my energies to the task at hand.   Until next FOTD, take care, and could fractals be the salvation of mankind?
