Fractal of the Day

Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's image is named "Antibrot". I named it when I noticed the almost-Mandelbrot shapes surrounding the obvious Mandelbrot shape at the center. It is another of my evaporated scenes consisting totally of trapped inside points made visible by the <fmod> inside option. The scene was created by combining Z^(-0.7), Z^(-6.4) and (1/C). The rating of a 6 might be a bit generous for an image that uses so few colors of the palette, but those colors create a good impression of fractal objects floating in space, so the rating could be considered appropriate. The render time of 59 minutes is quite slow. The download from: A fresh dusting of snow and a temperature of 26F -3C kept the dynamic fractal cats confined to the indoors all day Tuesday. But they endured their hardship intrepidly, and slept most of the time by the heat. Today is starting sunny but even colder. I hope they can maintain their intrepidness. As for me, I'm ready to have an intrepid day at the work desk. When I finish, I'll take a trip to Fractal Land. The best thing I find there will appear as tomorrow's FOTD.
