Fractal of the Day

Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's simple image is named "A Fractal Hiatus". I gave it this name because it is the last FOTD that I will be able to post until I finish the job of organizing and producing that long-talked-about FOTD CD. There is simply too much work involved to efficiently handle both the ongoing FOTD and the FOTD CD. I have no idea how long it will take to finish the CD, but if no new problems come up, I should have it finished in a few weeks. When the CD is ready, I will resume the ongoing daily FOTD. In the meantime, I will continue reading the lists and will post an occasional comment on the progress of the CD, or whatever comes to mind. But right now, I've got a pile of serious work in front of me, so I'd best get started. The parameter file of today's image runs in 7 minutes on my P200 machine. And the GIF file is available on Paul's and Scott's web sites at: With a temperature of 43F 6C, the Sunday weather here at Fractal Central was normal winter fare, which, despite the sun, did not please the cats.
