Fractal of the Day

Fractal visionaries:
Did you ever get the feeling that you were being watched? Well, I have news. It wasn't just a feeling; there are fractal eyes watching you. But before getting to the eyes, let's get the weather report over and done with.
It was a perfect day here in Fractal Land. Brilliant sun all day, and a temperature of 50F 10C made it an ideal day for a fractal hunt. Never one to let an opportunity pass, I hunted.
The formula I turned to is a new one named MandelPMnew. This formula takes an exponent and applies it to both (-Z) and (+Z), which are added together before adding C. Imag(p1) determines the exponent; real(p1) determines the size of the fractal. The exponent I used in today's FOTD is 0.7.
The fractal first appears as a rough circle open on the left side. Today's picture is part of a valley that appears inside that open area when the inside fill is set to bof60. The staring eyes effect is so obvious that I had but little choice when I named the picture "The Eyes Have It".
