The Type 32 was not widely produced (only 343 built), the variant's clipped square tip wings are the most obvious visible differences from earlier models.  This example flew with the 2nd Kokutai (flying group) during the summer of 1942 at Rabaul.   The inscription on the fuselage is "Hokoku-872" meaning that this aircraft was sponsored by a private organization.
