Hats and Hair Accessories

• Lace 'Scrunchie'
  Materials:
  27 inches of cotton lace with large holes
  10 inches of elastic cord
  Scissors
  Needle
  Thread
  Hot glue gun, optional
  Procedure:
  Thread the elastic through the holes of the lace as if you were doing a long running stitch. When you get to the end, tie the ends of the elastic together, leaving a 2 inch tail. Using the needle and thread stitch through the knot several times to keep it from unraveling, or apply a small amount of hot glue to the knot. Trim the tails. When you are wearing the scrunchie, the elastic knot will be hidden by the lace.
