Scale is important in determining how to display your collectables.
If the objects are small such as thimbles or compacts they will need to be viewed up close and displayed in a group.
Vary the heights of the collection with the use of other props.
A stack of Hard-BoundBooks make a useful elevation for objects especially if the titles or colors are appropriate and help to tie it all together.
A - Americana looks right at home in a Navy, Cream and Burgundy setting. Like most collectables they look better in clusters rather than individually.
- Collectible Angels (see our
Angel Art)
B - Bears, old ones, new ones, Beanies, Boyds, or Steifs.
Bears can add a whimsical touch to any room. They can look quite at home in the shelves of a book case or snuggled in an old cradle.
Make your own or
craft with ready made bears.

G - Glass - Wheather it's cut glass, depression glass, milk, cranberry or carnival glass it looks lovely displayed in a window with the light shining through. Window shelves stacked to take advantage of the whole window and flanked by white shutters can show off a collection while eliminateing the need for any other window treatment. Group the pieces in a mix of form and color rather than lineing them up in a row.
