ConvertTrack Release Notes

Version 1.4.1

11/14/00

The 1.4.1 release of ConvertTrack fixed a problem with source files from the Quicken.com site or other Quicken based sites (Excite, Prodigy.net, etc.) It appears that these sites potentially use two symbols for the Dow Jones Industrial Index. The first is "INDEX:INDU", which it has used for some time. The second is "INDEX:DJI". Either appears to work, but in order to allow for and handle either case, ConvertTrack has been modified. Also, on Quicken.com, you have the ability to choose whether the indexes appear at the top or bottom of your downloaded quotes table. ConvertTrack will handle either case now.

Version 1.4.0

07/14/00

The 1.4.0 release of ConvertTrack added support for three additional input (source) formats. These included Compuserve CSV files, Compuserve QIF files and Wall Street Journal CSV files. These source formats can be found at the Compuserve and Wall Street Journal web sites respectively.

Version 1.3.1

05/03/00

The 1.3.1 release of ConvertTrack fixed a problem with the MYM Quotelink format. If you did not have an index in your portfolio, then the file created by ConvertTrack was not readable by MYM.

Version 1.3.0

04/02/00

The 1.3.0 release of ConvertTrack added one additional output(target) format. Support was added for the MYM Quotelink format. This target format will also support the import of the Dow Jones Index for Quicken download sites. Currently, the Quicken sites code the DJI with the symbol "INDEX:INDU". This will get converted to the DJ 30 line found in the Compusrv.out (Quotelink) file. Althought Quotelink would have allowed you to pull in any index value, ConvertTrack 1.3.0 will currently only look for and translate "INDEX:INDU". At some point in the near future the ability to tell ConvertTrack what to look for and translate will be added, so that other indices instead of DJI can be imported.

Version 1.2.0

01/27/00

The 1.2.0 release fixed a Y2K problem that only some users encountered when downloading quotes from non-Quicken sites. This combined with a reliance on a Microsoft library date function that was not Y2K compatible were the source of the problem. This was corrected in. All existing users around the end of January, 2000 should have received an updated version. If you did not receive your update please send email with your Registration Code to ConvertTrack@worldnet.att.net.

Version 1.1.0

05/05/99

Three additional new import formats were added. These include the Lycos CSV (comma separated values) format, the Yahoo CSV format and the Microsoft Investor format. ConvertTrack can now convert stock price data from these formats to the MYM QuoteTrack format.

Version 1.0.0

Initial release of ConvertTrack to convert Quicken DCG and TXT formats to MYM QuoteTrack format.
