SERVICE INTERNATIONAL LTD.
was established in the Washington, D. C. area in 1988 by Richard Hobbs
to pursue opportunities for international business development. SIL moved to the Reno area in January 1991.
OBJECTIVE
of Service International Ltd. is to provide assistance to US or foreign companies or groups to develop or expand their international business opportunities.
SIL can assist companies with their international marketing and international business development.
SIL has contacts with experienced businessmen in Europe and the Middle East as well as the rest of the world.
Over 20 years have been spent working with the Middle East, particularly Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Morocco.
RICHARD HOBBS
served for 28 years in the U. S. Army, including West Point, two tours in
Viet-Nam, service on both the Army Staff and the Army Secretariat in the Pentagon,
and three years at the State Department in the Middle East Bureau on exchange from
the Defense Department.
He is one of the original Olmsted Scholars, having studied at the University of Lyon,
France where he received the degree of Docteur de l'Universite (International Law).
After retiring from the Army, he spent 11 years with Teledyne, Inc. serving in various positions including Vice President - International, Teledyne Industries, Inc. where he worked with the Departments of State, Commerce, and Defense and the embassies
on international policy questions and export licenses. He continued to work with the Middle East, traveling to the area, particularly Egypt, every few months and extensively through Africa.
