'Tis the Season
Harvesting our Past - Planting our Future
"Christ Church has initiated a capital campaign
to allow us to continue the mission of our historic
and wonderful church. While we have been fortunate
enough to benefit from the efforts of the previous
parishioners that provided for the comfort and love
that this old historic church has to offer us, we also
need to make sure that we continue to provide for this
house of worship. We want to ensure that we and those who
will come after us will have this unique sanctuary that
Christ has shared with us.
"The capital campaign was launched at a dinner event on June 26.
At the dinner, we shared our vision for Christ Church,
heard wonderful testimonials from parishioners and
shared the list of projects that we hope to undertake with the
money raised during this capital campaign.
"Our slogan takes into account our history, which began on Christmas Day in 1702 and as a result provided the identity for Christ Church. It also recognizes the efforts from generations past that have resulted in making our church the wonderful place that it is. It also reminds us that now we must seize the opportunity to plant the seeds of the future and provide for those who are to come after us.
"We hope that you will join us and support this capital campaign to allow us to continue the ministry at Christ Church.
