June 1-3

Here is a new event, held at Woodsom Farm
215 Lion’s Mouth Rd., Amesbury, MA 01913. This one holds much promise for the future.  Lets give it great support!

DIRECTIONS

From: Route 95 NORTH
Take Exit 58 -‘Amesbury’ to Rte 110 West
Follow Rte 110 past Four sets of traffic lights until you see RT hand turnoff for Rte 150
Take the Right turnoff just before the 4th Set of Traffic Lights (across from Union / St. Joseph’s Cemetery) This is [Rte 150 / Hillside Ave.] (See Directions Under the Line Below)

From: Route 95 SOUTH
Take Exit 56 onto Rte 495 South
Take the 1st Exit - 54 -‘Amesbury’ Crossing Intersection with Rte 110 onto [Rte 150 = Hillside Ave.]
Stay straight for about ¼ mile (See Directions Under the Line Below)

From: 495 NORTH
Take Exit 54 -‘Amesbury’ Crossing Intersection with Rte 110 onto [Rte 150 = Hillside Ave.]
Stay straight for about ¼ mile (See Directions Under the Line Below)


 
From: Rte 110 WEST or EAST
Take [Rte 150 / Hillside Ave.] (See Directions Below)

If somehow you end up in downtown Amesbury (small area):
From: Downtown Amesbury / Rte 150
From Market Square rotary – Bear Right around small rotary onto Friend Street past Town Hall and Main St. – continue straight past the Whittier Home & 1850 Quaker Meetinghouse, thence about ¾ mile from the Town Park. The farm is just ¼ mile past the Cashman School.

As You Come From: Rte 150 / Hillside Ave – keep straight until…Close Attention Here! –
You come to a 4-way Intersection with a (median & blinking yellow light)
Turn Left at this Intersection (Funeral Parlor will be on your right); this is Highland St.
Follow past (High School on the left) & continue with Town Park on the right side.
Stay straight on Highland Street past the Ball Field; at the stop sign go straight onto Lion’s Mouth Rd. for about ¾ mile… The Welcoming Tent will be visible on the left; we’ll be there to direct you.

Borderland

June 15-17

An old New England standard returns with new life. Located at Borderland State Park in Easton MA, this is yet another local event that deserves our support!

Directions:

From north: Take Rte. 128 south to Rte. 95 south (towards Providence). Take exit 10 (Sharon, Walpole and Coney Street). Take a left at the end of the ramp and follow this road, two or three miles to the traffic lights in Sharon Center. Go straight thru this intersection and immediately bear right onto Pond St. Follow Pond St. for 1-1/2 miles until you come to a traffic rotary. Go half way around the rotary and continue onto Massapoag Ave. for three miles to the park entrance, on your left.

From Boston: Take the southeast expressway south to Rte. 128 north and then to Rte. 95 south. Follow directions from above.

From west: Mass Pike to Rte. 495 south to exit 10 (Easton and Rte. 123). Take a left at the end of the ramp and follow Rte. 123 east towards Easton. Rte. 123 will merge with Rte. 106 east. After this merge look for the brown "Borderland" sign, on the left about a half mile from the merge. Take this left onto Poquanticut Ave. After about a mile the road will fork, bear to the left onto Massapoag Ave. and follow the signs to the park, approximately another two miles. Entrance will be on your right.

From east (Brockton): From Rte. 24 north take exit 17B (Easton). Follow Rte. 123 west to the intersection of Rte. 138. Take a right onto Rte. 138 north and follow to the second set of traffic lights (approx. one mile), take a left onto Main St and continue about one mile into the center of North Easton. In the center the road will fork, continue straight up the hill, Lincoln St., and follow to the end, approx. two miles. Take a right onto Bay Rd., then an immediate left onto Allen Rd. Follow Allen Rd. to its end, approx. one and a half miles. Take a right onto Rockland St. and follow for just under a mile to a four way stop sign. Take a right onto Massapoag Ave., the park entrance will be one mile on your right.


Borderland

Directions, continued:

     From south (Fall River): From Rte. 24 north take exit 16 (Rte. 106 west and Mansfield). Follow Rte. 106 west through four sets of traffic lights. Go thru the fourth light, which will be the intersection of Rte. 123 and 106, continue west on Rtes. 123 & 106 for one half mile. A brown park sign will be on your right, take this right onto Poquanticut Ave. Follow the signs to the park, approximately three miles.

From south (Providence): Take Rte. 95 north to exit 7A (Mansfield & Rte. 140 south). Take Rte. 140 south to the intersection of Rte. 106 east. Follow Rte. 106 into Easton. Rte. 106 will merge with Rte. 123. Continue 1/2 mile after the merge and turn left at the brown Borderland sign onto Poquanticut Ave. Follow Poquanticut Ave. and then bear left onto Massapoag Ave. to the park, which will be on your right, approximately 3 miles from the turn at Rtes. 106/123.

Groton

Directions:

From Boston Area:

Take Rte. 2 West to Rte. 495 North.

Get off Exit 31 for Littleton Common/Groton on Rte. 495.

Follow Rte. 119/225 west for approximately 6.5 miles.  Just after Mr. Mike’s Mobil Station on left is Old Ayer Rd.   Take left here and follow for ½ mile.  Hillbrook Orchard is on left.

From RI and Surrounding Areas:

Follow I-95 North to Rte. 495 North.

Take Exit 31 for Littleton Common/Groton on Rte. 495.

Follow Rte. 119/225 west for approximately 6.5 miles.  Just after Mr. Mike’s Mobil Station on left is Old Ayer Rd.   Take left here and follow for ½ mile.  Hillbrook Orchard is on left.

From Maine and Surrounding Areas:

Follow Rte I-95 South to Rte. 495 South toward Worcester.

Take Exit 31 for Littleton Common/Groton on Rte. 495.

From New York and Points West:

Find your way to the Mass. Pike (I-90) East.

Get off on Exit 10 for I-290/Worcester, merging onto I-290 East via the exit on the left toward Worcester.

Take Exit 19 for I-190 North.  Follow I-190 North to Rte. 2 East toward Boston (Exit 8B).

Take Exit 38A on Rte. 2E for Rte. 110 E/Rte 111N toward Groton and Ayer on Ayer Rd.  Follow Rte. 110/111N to roundabout.  Take 3rd exit in roundabout following Rte. 2A West and Rte. 111N.

Follow Rte. 2A/111for .4 Mi.  Turn right on Groton/Harvard Rd. Groton Harvard Rd. becomes Groton Rd.; Groton Rd. becomes Old Ayer Rd.

Hillbrook Orchard is ½ mi on right on Old Ayer Rd. after Ayer/Groton town line.

From New Hampshire and points north:

Find your way to Everett Turnpike/US-3 South.  Take Exit 5W for Rte. 111 West toward Pepperell, MA. 

Go right onto NH Rte.111 West for approximately 12 ½ mi., passing through one roundabout.  Follow Rte. 111 West and Rte. 119 East into the center of Groton.  Stay straight on Rte. 119 East, through town, past Groton Public Library and Lawrence Academy playing fields. 

Turn right onto Old Ayer Rd. and follow for ½ mi. to Hillbrook Orchard on left.
