Introducing. . .TURKO

Traditional size Lusitano Stallion sculpted by: Ed Bogucki

This lovely new fellow is Turko, a Lusitano Stallion. Sculpted by Ed Bogucki in a dynamic pose depicting the nimble grace this breed is known for. Prized for it's boldness and agility in the bullfighting arena, the Lusitano is the horse of choice for the Portuguese Rejoneador.
Note size comparison to Aashiq resin.

Over the years, in our Family, we have actually had 2 cats named Turko. . .a strange thing, I know. .. but the name is a family favorite as it was also the name of an incredible horse my Parents saw back in the early 60's when my Father was starting out as a freelance artist. Still referred to as "one of the most beautiful horses we've EVER seen" Turko was a metallic golden, dappled, buckskin Lusitano owned by a gentleman who, oddly enough, owned and leased out circus animals. The horse was trained in high school dressage as well as being admirably talented in all sorts of "circus-y" tricks. So, when it came time to name this fellow there really was only one choice that seemed appropriate.

From every angle, he shows fantastic expression.

Turko's mouth is fully detailed with teeth and tongue.

With his dramatic pose and attitude, Turko should prove to be an interesting entry in the performance arena as well as a heavily competetive halter horse. He is sculpted to be completely tack friendly including clear access up under his foretop.

TURKO is hollow cast, with stainless steel reinforcing rods, by Resins By Randy and offered in a limited edition of 150.
